We are proud to share with you that over $15,000 of funds and services will be donated by Jay’s Valet to Forty-four nonprofits for their participation and help to spread awareness of the 4th Annual, “Valet It Forward” Kindness Competition.
The competition was comprised of sixty-eight nonprofits that were randomly matched with college basketball teams, coinciding with the College Basketball Tournament Bracket.
Jay’s Valet is honored to announce the Children’s Diabetes Foundation as the grand prize winner of a $1,000 donation for being matched with Villanova, the 2016 National Champions.
Additional prizes of $250 were donated to the Gold Crown Foundation based in Denver and National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. The Gold Crown Foundation received their prize for being randomly selected out of the nine nonprofits, who’s teams scored exactly 35 points in one half of any of their games. The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum won their prize for being knocked out of the tournament with the largest point-spread.
Forty-four of the sixty-eight participating nonprofits will be receiving gift certificates worth over $300 of donated services to help increase donation support at their upcoming fundraising events.
The $1,000 donation to the Children’s Diabetes Foundation will be used to help fund diabetes research at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes and provide the best clinical and educational programs for individuals with diabetes.
The donation towards the Gold Crown Foundation will help with their youth sports and educational programs to nearly 20,000 boys and girls annually.
The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum will use Jay’s Valet’s donation to help maintain their Museum to preserve and interpret the evolving history and cultures of the American West for the education and enrichment of its diverse audiences.
We truly hope that you have enjoyed following this competition. If you have any question or interest in how to participate in future promotions with Jay’s Valet, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
